The boolean program is the graphical version, but can also so be run in the background using -silent option.
The boolean program is tested for the following platforms:

WIN XP
Linux ( Ubuntu and wxGTK2.8.10 )

other Unix platforms should not be to big a problem as long as wxWindows is supported for them.

DO NOT FORGET to set GDSROOT and HOME as variables

kbool is a standalone sample program. This program demonstrates the use of the boolean algorithm for all boolean operation (or, and, exor etc. + correction on polygons). It is meant to show how the algorithm needs to be integrated in other software.
It has no graphical interface, so portable without problems.
